Base $65,000- $85,000
$20,000 - $50,000 commission opportunity


The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential BluSky customers in their vertical within the assigned area of responsibility. Primary responsibilities include inside and outside sales activities such as networking, lead generation, social media, and participation in trade associations.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

(Within assigned territory or in any geographic market where our customers are present)


  • Nurtures and expands existing business relationships to increase lead/opportunity generation
  • Locates, presents to, and sells BluSky to new and prospects
  • Maintains membership and involvement in targeted associations
  • Supports all BluSky Sales efforts by following up on leads/opportunities
  • Prepares and presents sales proposals
  • Performs and meet sales activity thresholds consistently through client/prospect meetings and events.
  • Documents and track leads and business development activities through defined target list in SalesForce.
  • Plan and participate in and represent BluSky in tradeshows, golf tournaments, and promotional events

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Required 3+ years outside sales experience. Restoration industry experience preferred
  • Must be able to attend networking functions on evenings and weekends as needed
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience inputting and tracking sales related data into a CRM system
  • Valid driver's license & 25% travel
  • An outgoing, driven, tenacious, team-oriented attitude is a must!
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
